RED Class: This class is best suited for children who will be 3 years old on or before September 1st of the enrollment year and toilet trained prior to the start of school. Consideration may be made for children who are not yet 3 but meet State of Michigan age requirements for PCCN. The RED Class meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 am-11:30 am. This class is ideal for students who have had little experience in social settings and separating from parents or guardians, and will be experiencing a learning environment for the first time.
YELLOW Class: This class is a braided class for 3 and 4 year olds. Students must be toilet trained and 3 1/2 years old prior to September 1st of the enrollment year. The YELLOW Class meets on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9 am-11:30 am. This class is ideal for 3 year old students who are ready for and able to attend for longer periods of time and 4 year old students who may not yet be ready for or wanting the offering of our five day pre-K class. A balance of 3 and 4 year olds will be maintained and the Program Director reserves the right to make placement recommendations.
GREEN Class: Our pre-K class is for children who will be 4 on or before December 1st of the enrollment year and toilet trained prior to the start of school. The GREEN Class meets Monday through Friday 12:30 pm-3:30 pm. This class is ideal for students heading to Kindergarten the following year. This class is KCReady4s qualified.
As a co-op preschool, parents work in a classroom on a semi-regular basis to provide a well-rounded experience in the classroom for students and families. We also offer a non-participating option for families who cannot commit to in-class working responsibilities (this option is only available to a maximum of two children per class on a first come, first serve basis; it is also dependent on class enrollment).
TUITION (Annually - paid in monthly installment payments)
REGISTRATION: $100 paid via Venmo with complete enrollment packet and is non-refundable
ACTIVITY: The actual amount will be determined prior to the Parent Meeting in August and is meant to cover the cost of field trips and/or special events throughout the year, as deemed appropriate by the Executive Board.
FINGERPRINTING: Due at the time of the first tuition payment (July 15th). This fee is only required of families that have not already been fingerprinted at the school or if their fingerprinting is more than five years old. If you have been fingerprinted elsewhere within the last five years, please contact our Program Director.
In order to save your spot in class, the following must be turned in:
- $100 Registration fee paid via Venmo only to @pccntreasurer
- Completed Enrollment Packet sent via email or given in-person (Health Appraisal/Immunization Records are not due at this time but must be received before May 1*)
Once your spot has been reserved in class, you will receive a confirmation letter welcoming your child and family into the PCCN family. This email will also include a copy of our Parent Handbook for your review. If you have any questions at any point, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to get your questions answered.
*If your child’s annual well-child visit is scheduled over the summer, please reach out to the Enrollment Coordinator for special approval to turn in their Health Appraisal/Immunization Records at a later date.
