Board of Directors

Picture
Hi PCCN Community! I'm Madeline Goodman and I serve as the President on the Board of Directors here at PCCN. This is my third  year as President and my fifth year being a part of the pre-school- my son and daughter attended for three years so we are a proud PCCN alum family!
I am a stay/work at home mama to Liam (8) and Gwendolyn (5). My husband, Alex, and I both work for the WMU Athletic Department- we are WMU alums (Go Broncos!) and have called the Kalamazoo area home since we met on our first day moving in Freshman year. Our family also includes our little zoo- Lucius, our all white cat who lives up to his Harry Potter namesake, Hobey, our not-so-smart but loveable hound, Jack the elderly goat and Elmer- a duck that lives for the hose and frozen peas.
I love working in the classroom and my favorite part of PCCN is the experience of being around the kids. I look forward to meeting your learners and watching them grow!

Hello everyone! My name is Amanda Bobalik and I am serving as the PCCN executive board Secretary this year. My 8 year old twins Annabelle and Augustus previously attended PCCN, so I’m very excited for this opportunity to give back to this awesome community. In addition to being a parent, my husband Alan and I are both educators. He currently teaches at Bloomingdale high school, whereas I’ve yet to return to the classroom since staying home with my twins. I previously taught kindergarten, first, and second grade, and am a reading specialist. I currently work at an accounting firm doing administrative tasks, which provides me the flexibility I need for my kids. In my free time I love to spend time outside (this picture is from our summer trip to Oregon, which included a stop at Crater Lake National Park), dance, read, and play any kind of trivia or board game.
The absolute best thing about PCCN is the sense of community it encourages, so I’m really looking forward to meeting your families at our upcoming parent orientation and other school-wide events.

Hello everyone! My name is Courtney Zellers and I am your PCCN Board of Directors Treasurer this year. I served as the PCCN Vice President for the past 2 years. Our family has been a part of the PCCN community for the last 4 years. My son, Greyson (7), and daughter, Mackenzie (5), attended PCCN. They will be in 2nd grade and kindergarten this school year. I have a bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University and work full time for the State of Michigan in child welfare. Our family loves spending time outside, swimming, camping, going to the zoo and exploring new places. I am excited to continue to be a part of this amazing PCCN community and look forward to meeting all of you!
