Hi everyone! My name is Stephanie Bostwick-Ali and I have just taken on the role of the President on the Board of Directors at PCCN. My oldest daughter Zahra was a frog at PCCN last year and my youngest daughter Noura will be a tadpole next year. We have been so grateful to have PCCN as a healthy and enriching environment for our littles to thrive in.
Prior to becoming a stay at home mama, I received my Master's in Social Work from the University of Michigan. In my time as a clinical social worker, I worked to support families in a multitude of settings. Prior to my experience as a social worker, I worked for 5 years in early childhood education in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Our family moved to the Kalamazoo/Portage area during the summer of 2023 from Ann Arbor and have really enjoyed getting to know the area! Some of our favorite spots to explore have been hiking at the Kalamazoo Nature Center, getting ice cream at Bella Creamery, and visiting all of the libraries in the area.
I'm looking forward to this new role supporting PCCN, and I am excited for PCCN to continue to grow and be a supportive space for our community.
Hello everyone! My name is Amanda Bobalik and I am serving as the PCCN executive board Secretary for the third year. My 9 year old twins Annabelle and Augustus previously attended PCCN, so I’m very excited for this opportunity to give back to this awesome community. In addition to being a parent, my husband Alan and I are both educators. He currently teaches at Bloomingdale high school, whereas I’ve yet to return to the classroom since staying home with my twins. I previously taught kindergarten, first, and second grade, and am a reading specialist. I currently work at an accounting firm doing administrative tasks, which provides me the flexibility I need for my kids. In my free time I love to spend time outside (this picture is from our summer trip to Oregon, which included a stop at Crater Lake National Park), dance, read, and play any kind of trivia or board game. The absolute best thing about PCCN is the sense of community it encourages, so I’m really looking forward to meeting your families at our upcoming parent orientation and other school-wide events.
Hello everyone! My name is Courtney Zellers and I am your PCCN Board of Directors Treasurer. I have served on the Board for the past four years. Our family has been a part of the PCCN community for the last 4 years. My son, Greyson (9), and daughter, Mackenzie (6), attended PCCN. They will be in 2nd grade and kindergarten this school year. I have a bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University and work full time for the State of Michigan in child welfare. Our family loves spending time outside, swimming, camping, going to the zoo and exploring new places. I am excited to continue to be a part of this amazing PCCN community and look forward to meeting all of you!
