PCCN Pond Pals
Summer Learning Adventures
PCCN is proud to present POND PALS, a summer program for children three years through kindergarten.
Each session will provide campers with the opportunity for ART, Music, Motor Development, Literature, Cooperative Play, and Creative Expression
Location: PCCN Preschool 2731 W. Milham
Camp Times: 9am-12pm M-F
Camp Fees: $75 per session which includes a daily snack
June 4-8 –(Session 1) Nourishing Nature: Campers will experience firsthand the importance of caring for our planet. We will explore composting, recycling, conservation, and keeping our planet clean. We will make soap, plant seeds, and build our own composts. By week’s end you may even find you have a “litter bug” in your midst!!
July 9-13 – (Session 2) Outdoor Adventures: Pack the bug spray…we’re going camping!! We will sing around the campfire, hunt for (nature’s) treasure, snuggle into our tents for stories. We will build a bug catcher, feed the birds, and hunt for creepy crawlies. All happy campers will have S’more fun as we round out our week with lunch by “fireside”.
July 23-27 –(Session 3) Animal Antics: If we could talk to the animals…each day we will explore a different group of animal friends from barnyard to Serengeti. We will create habitats and learn about animal families. Campers will experience hands on learning with our special animal “visitors”.
August 6-10 –(Session 4) Wild World of Water: Wet, wet, wet describes this week of fun. We will explore water in all of its forms. Campers will experiment with color blending and tie-dying, celebrate the Ice Age, learn about weather, and build a “car wash” to keep us cool on our hot August days!! Campers supply towel daily and swim suit on Friday
