Hi everyone! My name is Stephanie Bostwick-Ali and I took on the role of the President on the Board of Directors at PCCN in September 2024. My oldest daughter attended PCCN in 2023-2024 school year, and her sister is currently a student. We hope to send our youngest to PCCN when he is old enough! We have been so grateful to have PCCN as a healthy and enriching environment for our littles to thrive in.
I am currently a stay at home mama, but prior to that I received my Master's in Social Work from the University of Michigan. In my time as a clinical social worker, I worked to support families in a multitude of settings. Before becoming a social worker, I worked for 5 years in early childhood education in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Our family moved to the Kalamazoo/Portage area during the summer of 2023 from Ann Arbor and have really come to love the area! Some of our favorite spots include hiking at the Kalamazoo Nature Center, getting ice cream at Bella Creamery, and visiting all of the libraries in the area.
I'm looking forward to continuing on in this role supporting PCCN, and I am excited for PCCN to continue to grow and be a supportive space for our community.

Hi Families!
My name is Heather Remmert, and I'm honored to serve as Vice President on the Board of Directors at PCCN, and to be part of a community that is so deeply committed to supporting young children and their families. I grew up in Kalamazoo and now live in Mattawan with my husband, Kevin, and our three boys, ages 8, 7, and 4. We also have a dog and two cats! Our oldest attended PCCN for two years and our youngest will be starting his second year at PCCN! As both a parent and community member, I care deeply about creating nurturing, engaging environments where children can learn, grow, and feel a strong sense of belonging. Professionally, I own and operate an outpatient mental health practice where I work full-time providing counseling services to individuals and families. My background has given me an appreciation for the social/emotional development, connection, and the importance of early childhood experiences. Outside of work, I love reading and am part of multiple book clubs, which has been a meaningful way to connect with others and continue learning. As a family, we enjoy spending time outdoors where you will find us camping, boating, fishing, hiking, and finding new adventures together whenever we can! I'm grateful for the opportunity to serve in this role and look forward to supporting the preschool community in a positive and collaborative way! |
Hi families!
My name is Kaitlyn Harris, and I’m your PCCN Board Secretary. My youngest son, Emory, currently attends PCCN and this is my family’s third year at PCCN.
I live in Portage with my two boys (4 and 6), our goldendoodle, Penny, and my husband. My family loves hiking, traveling, visiting zoos and bouncing around town to different events.
I’m a stay-at-home-mom by day and a work-at-home-mom by night. I own my home cottage bakery, Beechmount Bakery.
Before becoming a baker and cookie artist, I was first a teacher. I have a Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education with minors in social studies and language arts from WMU. I taught for five years as a kindergarten and first grade teacher. Before college, I worked at a preschool for two years in my hometown. Working with children was a passion of mine, but I left the profession in 2020 when I had my first son and discovered a love for baking.
Throughout the year I’ll be offering cookie decorating classes as fundraisers for PCCN, so stay on the lookout for those!
Mrs. Warren and Mrs. Wilson are 110% the teachers you’d want your child to have for their preschool journey. They do such a wonderful job of preparing your kiddo for the big jump to kindergarten!
